Recipe

For PBL this term  we had to create a food from a country we had pulled out of a hat, I got greece and decided to make Souvlaki a traditional greek food it was fun making it and in the end they tasted great! and since I really don't wanna have to deal with the weird CRTL C+ CTRL V glitch thingy with blogger here is a screenshot of my recipe!

Overwatch: The legend of the 6K

6k's (Getting 6 kills) are very hard to achieve its not many times that you get to say "I killed the whole enemy team" Its a special achievement that me myself in my 4,000 + Hours of playing have only gotten 3 times!

Part one: How to get the skill to achieve a 6k
You can't just go into Overwatch with 30 Minutes on Genji and expect to get nano'd and team wipe, no no no, you need to achieve the skill to be able to even think about it I recommend  at least 50+ Hours on your selected hero, gather a few friends along the way get them to play Ana and Zarya (If they want to of course) Ana's nano boost is invaluable and Zarya's gravitation is incredibly good

Part two: Best times to preform a 6k
You cant really do one mid-team fight because either 1-2 of the enemy are dead and you want all 6 don't you? the best times to do it are, In a sneak attack, and a co-ordinate attack with your team these are very good times to do this as it will allow you to get the most value out of your Ultimate ability

Part three: SIX TUPLE KILL!
Your Zarya pulls the whole enemy together then your Ana nano boosts you, you activate your ultimate and BOOM you here the commentator yell out "SIX TUPLE KILL!" you've done it you have just gotten the legendary

Six Kills

Have you ever gotten 6k in Overwatch?

Instructions on how to play Koukla

Koúkla
Koukla is one of the most popular sports in the Balkan country of Greece
What you needs is..

1) One Football/Rubber Ball.
2) 3-4 Bases or cones.
3) A Large open space.
4) At least 5-10 players on each team.
5) Goalkeeping/Grip Gloves for enhanced fielding (Optional)

Steps
1) First, you will need to set down the ball on the ground or on a cone
2)Next you’ll need to make sure that all the fielders are on the outside of the bases/cones
3)Take 4 steps backwards and take a run-up towards the ball and kick it.

Rules
A player is out if the enemy..

1) Catch the ball, get the ball to the base before you do tag with the ball.
2) When the fielding team gets 3 players out then the teams switch over.
3) If the "Batting" team all kick the ball and make it home they win.
4) If the fielders catch you out its three points to them if they get the ball to the base before
you they get two points, if they tag you they get 1 point
5) If the "Batting" team make it to base one you get 0 points if you make it to base two you get 1
point if you make it to base 3 you get 3 points and if you make a home run its 4 points.

Then rinse and repeat this process until you have run out of time or call it a day.

Reading

This week we had to read a book and come up with our prior knowledge, new things we learnt and something we have taken away from it, the book I did was all about showing how plastic is in almost everything we use from pool balls to car windows the create task was fun especially learning about how much plastic is in these everyday things that I would not have expected.

Do you use plastic alot?
Here it is

Padlet Reading

For reading this week we had to challenge the text by questioning it. We also had to tell what makes a fake article fake and what makes a real article real.

Four days of fun

From Tuesday until Friday we were out camping at YMCA Wainui. I was in bunk room 7 which consisted of.. Josh O, George, Josh S, Ethan & Xavier M, Tremaine, Glen and Joe. We would have Jude in our bunk room but he got sick the day we where leaving so that's a bummer.

Here is a photo of the bunk rooms!

Here is my reflection of my time at camp!

Something I found challenging
One thing that I found challenging was switching from activity to activity due to them being so diverse and unique from each other, for example, one thing I had was Coasteering and High ropes only about 30 minutes apart because one was getting into water getting cut three times (I'm still salty) and avoiding barnacle, sharp rocks and falling into water off rocks into water and the other was Climbing and trusting people with your life.

Something I learnt
One thing was that I couldn't do everything that I wanted to and that I had to do the things that weren't as fun (For me at least) because I feel that learning new things and maybe finding a new interest was what most of activities where about. Personally I found out that I really and I mean it, really enjoy climbing I don't know what it is other than it is just super fun. But of course it can all be sunshine and rainbows, can it now?

Something I enjoyed
Thinking about it now, this sounds really generic but my point being that these activities are tiring and my favourite part was having a nice rest or sleeping honestly, like, after running around the place for a whole day, who wouldn't just want to collapse into a sleeping bag under a blanket making it extra comfy?! but getting back on track I dunno sleep is just the best.
I also enjoyed archery not something I would rave about every day begging my parents to do, but I still very much enjoyed it from the shots that got sent to Sweden or the ones the hit dead centre.

Something that I'm grateful for
If I had to pinpoint one thing it would be being able to go, because I understand that most schools can't even think about doing these types of things in the first place, but my school can I find that amazing that we can do all of these things most of the things that this school wants to do does it! (Except for the skiing trip that we couldn't do which I'm sad about)

So, that was my reflection on Kaupeka's camping trip I hope we can do more things like this in the future but for now, adios!

Celebrate who you are

For PBL Term 4 our question was.. "How can we celebrate who we are?" It revolves around culture and where we are from, including our traits and personalty.
The question (I think) plans to get ourselves out there and not to lie about who we are and show everyone, I know what I want to do for this PBL and no one will know!
..expect at the end of the term where everyone can see!
