In Reading this week I have been learning about summarising

Here is a snippet of my speech on Discrimination

people sometimes don’t realise that.. they have more freedom than most black people, and they have this privilege because.. because their skin colour is lighter than others? it.. it jus- it's just doesn’t make sense does it to you?! because it certainly doesn’t to me.

Trust me the speech is way way way way way way longer than this little snippet

Cross Country

So on Thursday we had cross country and at the start of the day I had a horrific pain in my side and when we went to school I thought I wouldn't be able to do it me and my group (all the kids who wouldn't be able to do the run) we got hot chocolates!

..For the teachers we got there before everyone else and setup some of the teachers said I should probably do at least 1 lap then when I finished my 1st lap I did another then I finished the whole thing dunno what place I came though but it was an experience at least

Inferring

This week in our reading workshops we have been learning about inferring, when you find connections from certain words to find their meaning.  

My Saturday Football Match!

So coming into this match we were already very confident coming into this match because this team apparently loses by 14 every match and we were at home I was playing centre back and im pretty sure about 30 seconds into the game.. we scored. They kicked off again and the game was back underway I get the ball and lift it over the oppositions heads and get it to our striker and then he scores getting me an assist making it 2 - 0

To cut the chase it was 6 - 1 by half time! so we put our strikers and wingers in defence I was in goal our midfielders were playing.. midfield and our defenders were strikers...



Didn't stop us from scoring another 5 goals we proper annihilated them! so that was my post
If you have played football matches before, what was your biggest scoreline? Mine has been 17 - 3 (15 goal difference) we won that game! 

Discrimination.

So this term we are going to learn about discrimination and why we shouldn't do it to be honest that's a very easy question to answer but at random the teachers will say something like "Boys sit on the sets and girls sit on the mat" or Girls use your chromebooks boys do it in your book" stuff like that but today im going to be talking about racism and why you shouldn't do it

They can't help them being the tone of skin colour they have.
It gives you nothing in return
Why do you do it? I hope you get a popcorn piece stuck in between your teeth
Why?
Why are you being a crappy human being
Just stop no one thinks your cool by doing it.
If you do it you probably have less brain cells than a deceased giraffe

End of term blog!

So 11 weeks have passed, yeah it only feels like its been 2 minutes so in this blog im going to tell you about my term!

My favourite part was writing and fitness (It has been for each of my 7 years at school!) we got more chances to do writing and fitness this year and I loved it every time I did it! We also did tech this term which was great we did cooking first my favourite dish I made was like mini chicken nuggets on a salad in a bun.. that is a mouthful!

So overall it has been a great term and I hope term 2 can be just the same!
